 The Outdoor Leadership program combines training in leadership, environmental awareness, and specialized skills, including camping, hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, caving, mountain biking, a ropes course, survival, Wilderness First Aid, and CPR. Upon completion, students will be qualified to lead trips in their own area of specialization. The course requires a yearlong commitment to attend a weekly after school meeting (4-6 pm), one weekend meeting per month, and trips during project weeks. The course will include some fees (to be determined). Admission will be based upon application and limited to 13 students, grades 8-12.
High School Programs are Open to 8th Grade Students. Please note that all TAPPS Athletics programs are open to 8th grade students including: Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, and Outdoor Leadership.
